Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Quinaz got the match started through his kick off. Caio Quintela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Quinaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Severino Pádua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Lucas Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Quintela was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Emanuel Veiga. With a little luck, Guarda FC's Caio Quintela got control of the ball when Laurentino Calado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Simão Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Cândido Ornelas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Saldanha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Fernando Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Fernando Guimarães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guarda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giraldes the free kick. The supporters of Guarda FC booed when Giraldes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Catarino Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Bezerra in the 37th minute of play forced Giraldes's goalkeeper Angelo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurentino Calado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Caio Quintela made a huge save. Guarda FC's Caio Quintela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Guarda FC from getting a goal against them.

Amável Balsemão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Severino Pádua struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Angelo Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarda FC. Angelo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Pádua, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Jaime Quinaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarda FC's Caio Quintela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guarda FC's Fernando Guimarães got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Fernando Guimarães off the ground. The corner led Giraldes's Emanuel Veiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Caio Quintela despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teófilo Taveira during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Guarda FC's Eusébio Barroso tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Laurentino Calado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jaime Quinaz came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Giraldes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Quinaz couldn't finish the play. Simão Bezerra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Angelo Saldanha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Simão Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Giraldes's Eliseu Casado got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th match minute, Giraldes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Casado to maneuver through the defense. Simão Bezerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Angelo Saldanha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guarda FC's Caio Quintela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurentino Calado in the 94th minute of play. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guarda FC's goalkeeper Caio Quintela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
