Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Caio Quintela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Yuri Eiró had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the BRILLIANT COMMANDER defense, Fernando Guimarães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Vidal. The BRILLIANT COMMANDER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Vidal should have stopped the shot. Caio Quintela made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Yuri Eiró sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Mendes scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Israel Vidal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Israel Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Bezerra in the 22nd minute of play. When Virgílio Rios fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BRILLIANT COMMANDER's protests and gave Virgílio Rios a yellow card for diving instead. Virgílio Rios kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Fernando Guimarães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guarda FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 29 played minutes Guarda FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Mendes. 35 minutes into the match, BRILLIANT COMMANDER's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Mendes came free, but Israel Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BRILLIANT COMMANDER's Israel Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Pádua in the 37th minute of play. Israel Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Bezerra in the 38th minute of the match. Severino Pádua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Vidal having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Vivaldo Silveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio Quintela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Bezerra in the 44th minute of play forced BRILLIANT COMMANDER's goalkeeper Israel Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, one of BRILLIANT COMMANDER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BRILLIANT COMMANDER.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Eiró was the one to do the kick off. Yuri Eiró fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Quintela having to interfere. Simão Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Simão Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Israel Vidal. BRILLIANT COMMANDER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Yuri Eiró managed to get in a good position for a shot. BRILLIANT COMMANDER's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Eiró was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio Quintela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Guimarães in the 72nd minute of play forced BRILLIANT COMMANDER's goalkeeper Israel Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Vidal came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Guarda FC's Simão Bezerra. But to his dismay, Simão Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. BRILLIANT COMMANDER's Israel Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save BRILLIANT COMMANDER from getting a goal against them. Severiano Lobato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Caio Quintela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Guarda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Bezerra got free with Israel Vidal in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BRILLIANT COMMANDER's Israel Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Mendes in the 93rd minute of play. BRILLIANT COMMANDER's Israel Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save BRILLIANT COMMANDER from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Bezerra got free with Israel Vidal in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, BRILLIANT COMMANDER's Israel Vidal got control of the ball when Simão Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line.
