But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Ribas couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Eliseu Casado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loch Ness FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Quinaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Loch Ness FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
