Spectators: 7784 (Terracing: 5839, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardo Monteiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bernardo Monteiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nivaldo Lucena came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo Monteiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Nivaldo Lucena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamilton Póvoas in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Odivelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Caires to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Eanes in the 11th minute of play forced FC Tugalions's goalkeeper Abílio Corte-Real to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abílio Corte-Real showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Quintanilha in the 19th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Odivelas FC's Noel Quintanilha made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abílio Corte-Real was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramiro Alcântara hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Odivelas FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Noel Quintanilha hit a great ball. When Bernardo Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tugalions's protests and gave Bernardo Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, FC Tugalions's Hamilton Póvoas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After having played for 31 minutes, Bernardo Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Tugalions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Noel Quintanilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abílio Corte-Real saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomé Soares hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Bernardo Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tugalions's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nivaldo Lucena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hamilton Póvoas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Noel Quintanilha notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Tugalions's Abílio Corte-Real. Abílio Corte-Real was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noel Quintanilha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nivaldo Lucena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamilton Póvoas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noel Quintanilha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abílio Corte-Real having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Ramiro Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nivaldo Lucena having to interfere. Hamilton Póvoas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nivaldo Lucena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. João Eanes might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abílio Corte-Real. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Eanes ran back to his position shaking his head. Nivaldo Lucena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamilton Póvoas in the 73rd minute of the match. João Eanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Abílio Corte-Real tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Hamilton Póvoas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Tugalions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 85th minute, Noel Quintanilha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
