Telmo Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Gouveia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Gouveia in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Ramalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duarte Gouveia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viriato Pestana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duarte Gouveia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Ramalho having to interfere. Duarte Gouveia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Telmo Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Rapijais FC defense, Viriato Pestana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Ramalho. The Rapijais FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Ramalho should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Viriato Pestana notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rapijais FC's Telmo Ramalho. Telmo Ramalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Óscar Belém came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Rapijais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óscar Belém couldn't finish the play. Gil Vidigals short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Mauro Vilaverde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Gil Vidigal came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Rapijais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Vidigal couldn't finish the play. Rapijais FC's Óscar Belém got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 48 in the game by Gil Vidigal from a close distance when the talented Mauro Vilaverde managed to make a qualified save. Portugal Gold Academy's players were relieved.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duarte Gouveia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Portugal Gold Academy's Duarte Gouveia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 66 minutes into the match, Gil Vidigal notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Portugal Gold Academy's Mauro Vilaverde. Mauro Vilaverde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Rapijais FC booed when Portugal Gold Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes, Gil Vidigal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rapijais FC and the Portugal Gold Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rapijais FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gil Vidigal hit a great ball. Tarcísio Lessa kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Gil Vidigal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapijais FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Vidigal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viriato Pestana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Telmo Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Portugal Gold Academy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
