With a little luck, Rapijais FC's Telmo Ramalho got control of the ball when Antonio Antonas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Óscar Belém charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Óscar Belém the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Antonas was the one to do the kick off. Telmo Ramalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After 97th play minutes Mário Madeira shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Telmo Ramalho and just under the crossbar into goal. There was no doubt that Boavista Futebol Clube were the better team. Boavista Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
