The audience was convinced that Tiago Júdice's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damazy Winnicki was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Antero Madruga could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Damazy Winnicki however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Penaventosa FC's zone, Gentil Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Hørk came out of the goal and Gentil Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Alex Lemos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Filinto Barbosa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Joakim Hørk 96 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
