Baltasar Vilanova scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, C. F. CANELAS 2010's Baltasar Vilanova sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, C. F. CANELAS 2010's Nuno Figueiredo got control of the ball when Rodolfo Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abílio Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Nuno Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATito. Rui Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Vilanova in the 32nd minute of play. Nicolas Peralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Vilanova, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Nuno Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abílio Teixeira in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, C. F. CANELAS 2010's Nuno Figueiredo got control of the ball when Nicolas Peralta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rui Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Sousa in the 45th minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Vítor Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATito's Rui Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Nicolas Peralta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Rodolfo Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Ferraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ATito getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. The tension between the ATito and the C. F. CANELAS 2010 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nuno Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abílio Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 63 played minutes ATito got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Ferraz. After 64 played minutes, C. F. CANELAS 2010's Jon Forsmo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rui Abreu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. F. CANELAS 2010 reached it. 66 minutes into the match, C. F. CANELAS 2010's goal looked a bit too open when Abílio Teixeira came free, but Nuno Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Manuel Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. F. CANELAS 2010 the free kick. After 73 played minutes ATito got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Mendes. In the 76th minute C. F. CANELAS 2010 were awarded a corner. Baltasar Vilanova went to the cornerflag to take it. Baltasar Vilanova succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 78th playminute. In the 82nd match minute, ATito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Peralta to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Manuel Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Nuno Figueiredo. C. F. CANELAS 2010's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Vítor Sousa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. C. F. CANELAS 2010's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
