When Roberto Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bajouca FC's protests and gave Roberto Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Bajouca FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Alvarenga. Delfim Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Quiqas F.C getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Iván Luis Zamorano hit a great ball. Iván Luis Zamorano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 25th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Quiqas F.C's zone, Benedito Sobral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Gueifão came out of the goal and Benedito Sobral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedito Silva's late challenge caught a Bajouca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedito Silva helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bajouca FC booed when Quiqas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Quiqas F.C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Aquilino Cunha hit a great ball. Rubim Abrantes scored 2-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Gueifão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delfim Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iván Luis Zamorano in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valério Travassos saved Bajouca FC from getting behind. Valério Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the Bajouca FC defense, Benedito Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valério Travassos. The Bajouca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valério Travassos should have stopped the shot. Valério Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Cunha in the 61st minute of play. Joaquim Gueifão came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bajouca FC's Delfim Saldanha. But to his dismay, Delfim Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 66 minutes in the game, Benedito Sobral fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joaquim Gueifão having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Aquilino Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quiqas F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bajouca FC the free kick. The supporters of Bajouca FC booed when Quiqas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Quiqas F.C's Aquilino Cunha got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Joaquim Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Sobral in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Bajouca FC booed when Quiqas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Quiqas F.C were victorious despite being under pressure from Bajouca FC for much of the match.
