After 11 played minutes Quiqas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Elias Lustosa. A long shot from Martinho Pestana in the 12th minute of play was well struck, but Joaquim Gueifão made a really good save at the right post. Quiqas F.C's Joaquim Gueifão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Quiqas F.C from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo Cordeiro got free with Joaquim Gueifão in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Lustosa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, one of Quiqas F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice moves Olavo Cordeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Joaquim Gueifão however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Joaquim Gueifão successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Quiqas F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Joaquim Aires scored to the left of an out of position Joaquim Gueifão, making the score, 2-0. Joaquim Aires hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Quiqas F.C's Joaquim Gueifão got control of the ball when Olavo Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The wind increased when Joaquim Aires made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Joaquim Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Cordeiro in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Quiqas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Cunha to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Aires in the 69th minute of play forced Quiqas F.C's goalkeeper Joaquim Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Aires in the 96th minute of play forced Quiqas F.C's goalkeeper Joaquim Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Benedito Silva fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quiqas F.C's protests and gave Benedito Silva a yellow card for diving instead. Mocho's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
