Basílio Moutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basílio Moutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basílio Moutinho hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Porfírio Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Olavo Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mocho's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Ferro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Sousa in the 14th minute of play forced Mocho's goalkeeper Xavier Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Ferro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, Mocho's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Sousa came free, but Xavier Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentim Paixão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Ferro having to interfere.

The wind increased when Domingos Sousa made the kick off in the second half. Gusmão Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Olavo Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Ferro was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After 79 minutes of play, Fato FC's Pedro Guerreiro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xavier Brás was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mocho's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
