The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo Cordeiro got free with Valério Travassos in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Bajouca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Camacho came free, but Valério Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mocho booed when Bajouca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubim Abrantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porfírio Flores in the 19th minute of play forced Bajouca FC's goalkeeper Valério Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubim Abrantes charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubim Abrantes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 21 minutes into the match, Bajouca FC's goalkeeper Valério Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olavo Cordeiro. After 28 played minutes Mocho got a freekick which was hit by Porfírio Flores. Olavo Cordeiro took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valério Travassos. Valério Travassos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mocho's Armando Camacho got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo Cordeiro got free with Valério Travassos in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bajouca FC's Valério Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Camacho in the 39th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Camacho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valério Travassos. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Porfírio Flores took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Valério Travassos to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
