The referee ignored DESPORTIVO DE ALCAINS's protests and gave Russ Lodge a yellow card for diving instead. The tension between the Pereirinhas and the DESPORTIVO DE ALCAINS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pereirinhas getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gentil Melo hit a great ball. Tomé Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Amado Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DESPORTIVO DE ALCAINS. 79 minutes into the match, Pereirinhas 's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliusz Gonsiewski came free, but Amado Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Matias Bentes came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Pereirinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Bentes couldn't finish the play. Domingos Taveira's late challenge caught a DESPORTIVO DE ALCAINS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Taveira helped the player get up and apologised. Domingos Taveira hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
