Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Karlos Bencoiechea kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute Carlos Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Pegado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Mota in the 8th minute of play forced CD Nacional's goalkeeper Guilherme Pegado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Israel Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karlos Bencoiechea in the 14th minute of play forced Azelha FC's goalkeeper Cesário Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Karlos Bencoiechea came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the CD Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karlos Bencoiechea couldn't finish the play. Silvestre Regalado took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesário Costa. Cesário Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Azelha FC's Cesário Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Teofilio in the 20th minute of play. Guilherme Pegado came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Azelha FC's Carlos Mota. But to his dismay, Carlos Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cesário Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Regalado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Pascoal Portugal took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Guilherme Pegado to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Guilherme Pegado came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Azelha FC's Renato Melo. But to his dismay, Renato Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Israel Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 59 played minutes CD Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Diego Viana. Israel Amaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guilherme Pegado. CD Nacional's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamilton Calçada in the 61st minute of play forced CD Nacional's goalkeeper Guilherme Pegado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Hamilton Calçada sped through CD Nacional's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guilherme Pegado. If Karlos Bencoiechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azelha FC's Cesário Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Regalado in the 72nd minute of play. Karlos Bencoiechea kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, CD Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Teofilio to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamilton Calçada in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guilherme Pegado saved CD Nacional from getting behind. Fernando Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Hamilton Calçada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Pegado was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Israel Amaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Azelha FC booed when CD Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes CD Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Diego Viana. Guilherme Pegado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamilton Calçada in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Azelha FC were the better team. Azelha FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
