Higino Caiado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vigário, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Moisés Belém made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Lima in the 20th minute. Valentim Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Belém having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Valentim Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Belém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vigário in the 27th minute of play forced Imortais FC's goalkeeper Higino Caiado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higino Caiado having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Imortais FC's Raimundo Taveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moisés Belém narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Emanuel Gueifão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Suite FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imortais FC the free kick. In the 41st minute, Raimundo Taveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Imortais FC's Valentim Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés Belém made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gusmão Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Belém having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sálvio Passos couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Real Suite FC booed when Imortais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Taveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Sálvio Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Belém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Joaquim Carvalhais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, Real Suite FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Guarda to maneuver through the defense.
