Adolfo Sales might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Lisboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Sales ran back to his position shaking his head.

54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estoril-Praia FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juvenal Soeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Borralhoso FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Borralhoso FC's Juvenal Soeiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Vítor Lisboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Estoril-Praia FC's goalkeeper Vítor Lisboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Sales. Adolfo Sales's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Lisboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Ronaldo Jesus was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 64 played minutes Borralhoso FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Jesus. Benedito Marinho struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Gusmão Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estoril-Praia FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Matos in the 71st minute of play forced Borralhoso FC's goalkeeper Gusmão Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Diego Junqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borralhoso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Junqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Diego Junqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot.
