SC Nabais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edrosa the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Nabais's Xavier Montenegro got a free kick in the 95th minute. SC Nabais's Aristides Laureano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermenegildo Veríssimo in the 96th minute of play. In the 99th minute, SC Nabais's Rogério Aires ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isidoro Gusmão.
