Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Filinto Rebocho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Coutinho in the 6th minute of play forced Edrosa's goalkeeper Isidoro Gusmão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pedro Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th match minute, Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avelino Carreira to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Maia took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valter Pinhal. Valter Pinhal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Devils getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Avelino Carreira hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Valter Pinhal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Maia went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Valter Pinhal made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jairo Semedo sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Rui Fidalgo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Filinto Rebocho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valter Pinhal. Filinto Rebocho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When Devils's Pedro Coutinho in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Edrosa's goalie prevented a goal. Isidoro Gusmão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Coutinho in the 38th minute of the match. Devils's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Jairo Semedo scored to the left of an out of position Valter Pinhal, making the score, 4-0. After 45 played minutes Edrosa got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Leitão. Avelino Carreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

After 51 played minutes Edrosa got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Freire. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermenegildo Veríssimo in the 54th minute of play forced Devils's goalkeeper Valter Pinhal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, one of Edrosa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pedro Coutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Gusmão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Edrosa got a freekick which was hit by Filinto Rebocho. Valter Pinhal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Semedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes Devils got a freekick which was hit by Igor Bezerra. Valter Pinhal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Maia in the 80th minute of the match. Isidoro Gusmão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Avelino Carreira in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Jairo Semedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Pinhal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Fidalgo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Pedro Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Gusmão having to interfere. Avelino Carreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
