After a rather tough play, Rua da Pinga's Sidónio Pacheco got a free kick in the 11th minute. Aldaír Trigueiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidónio Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Sidónio Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldaír Trigueiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jaime Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Cezary Karpinski put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Aldaír Trigueiro. In the 26th minute Cezary Karpinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldaír Trigueiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldaír Trigueiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidónio Pacheco's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Reinaldo Lage hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Etienne Krummenacher made a precise shot to the right of Aldaír Trigueiro. G.D. 1º de Maio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in G.D. 1º de Maio's zone, Cezary Karpinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldaír Trigueiro came out of the goal and Cezary Karpinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldaír Trigueiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidónio Pacheco in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

After 54 played minutes G.D. 1º de Maio got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Ruas. 55 minutes into the match, G.D. 1º de Maio's goal looked a bit too open when Sidónio Pacheco came free, but Aldaír Trigueiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adelino Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 朱延岩 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 66th play minutes Cezary Karpinski shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Aldaír Trigueiro and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 69th minute of the match, Sidónio Pacheco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aldaír Trigueiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rua da Pinga had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
