Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diamantino Figueiras got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Filinto Rebocho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edrosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Filinto Rebocho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lourenço Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Óscar Fraga during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7thth minute of the game Afonso Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edrosa's Isidoro Gusmão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 8 played minutes Edrosa got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Semedo. After having played for 15 minutes, Afonso Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TORRESIBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diamantino Figueiras kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Hermenegildo Veríssimo could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Lourenço Pinheiro however easily saved by the left post. After 24 minutes TORRESIBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hipólito Telinhos who took care of the corner kick. In the 26th minute, Edrosa's Filinto Rebocho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 29 minutes, Nélson Bettencourt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edrosa and the TORRESIBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Edrosa getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nélson Bettencourt hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Diamantino Figueiras put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Isidoro Gusmão. Afonso Antunes struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Isidoro Gusmão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TORRESIBA. Isidoro Gusmão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diamantino Figueiras went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, TORRESIBA's Afonso Antunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Gusmão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filinto Rebocho might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lourenço Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filinto Rebocho ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filinto Rebocho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lourenço Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Semedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Freire hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Afonso Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Antunes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Isidoro Gusmão 57 minutes into the match. Afonso Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Diamantino Figueiras came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the TORRESIBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Figueiras couldn't finish the play. Afonso Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isidoro Gusmão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Antunes in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Edrosa's Isidoro Gusmão got control of the ball when Afonso Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isidoro Gusmão was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Diamantino Figueiras capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Afonso Antunes in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isidoro Gusmão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The TORRESIBA fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when TORRESIBA's Afonso Antunes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 90 played minutes Edrosa got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Maia. The crowd rose to their feet as TORRESIBA's Afonso Antunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isidoro Gusmão. That made the score 2-8 after 94 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded TORRESIBA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Edrosa.
