Quintino Regalado hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Laureano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Nabais's Aristides Laureano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Urbano in the 38th minute of play. Raimundo Eiró hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SC Nabais defense, Edward Bubczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Laureano. The SC Nabais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Laureano should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half.
