José Vilaverde kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Gusmão Vilarinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wladyslaw Pozorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Gusmão Vilarinho came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by MAKRO's Victorino Peru. But to his dismay, Victorino Peru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. João Mario scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gusmão Vilarinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gusmão Vilarinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Mario, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If João Mario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes, André Falcão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Os Lagartos and the MAKRO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Os Lagartos got a freekick which was hit by André Falcão. In the 24th match minute, Os Lagartos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vilaverde to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Os Lagartos's zone, Victorino Peru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gusmão Vilarinho came out of the goal and Victorino Peru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gusmão Vilarinho came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by MAKRO's Wladyslaw Pozorski. But to his dismay, Wladyslaw Pozorski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Os Lagartos's zone, Victorino Peru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gusmão Vilarinho came out of the goal and Victorino Peru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Victorino Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gusmão Vilarinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gusmão Vilarinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Oliveira in the 38th minute of the match. Victorino Peru took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gusmão Vilarinho. Gusmão Vilarinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 42nd match minute, MAKRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Mario to maneuver through the defense. If Bruninho Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gusmão Vilarinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Pozorski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

51 minutes into the match, Victorino Peru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gusmão Vilarinho. Os Lagartos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Peru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. João Mario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germano Barata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gusmão Vilarinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match, Bruninho Oliveira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gusmão Vilarinho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 58th minute Bruninho Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gusmão Vilarinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, João Mario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAKRO's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Mario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gusmão Vilarinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Peru went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, MAKRO's Bruninho Oliveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gusmão Vilarinho. Gusmão Vilarinho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Gusmão Vilarinho came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by MAKRO's Victorino Peru. But to his dismay, Victorino Peru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Gusmão Vilarinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Peru went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. MAKRO's Germano Domingues was substituted for Wladyslaw Pozorski. João Mario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gusmão Vilarinho made a huge save. When Germano Barata fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAKRO's protests and gave Germano Barata a yellow card for diving instead. Germano Barata hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Bruninho Oliveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gusmão Vilarinho came out and tried to block the shot, but Bruninho Oliveira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 78th minute. Germano Domingues came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gusmão Vilarinho could save by the left post. Gusmão Vilarinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gusmão Vilarinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruninho Oliveira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 87 minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Bruninho Oliveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gusmão Vilarinho. Bruninho Oliveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-17. When the final whistle sounded MAKRO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Os Lagartos.
