Spectators: 7969 (Terracing: 5978, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Diamantino Palhares kicked off to start the match. Severi Nybacka hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Waldir Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Os Lagartos's Gusmão Vilarinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Urbano in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Os Lagartos's José Vilaverde got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Urbano in the 25th minute of play forced Os Lagartos's goalkeeper Gusmão Vilarinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Waldir Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gusmão Vilarinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severi Nybacka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gusmão Vilarinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 38th minute, Waldir Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Waldir Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gusmão Vilarinho made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Waldir Urbano sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Leonardo Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldir Urbano to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Waldir Urbano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gusmão Vilarinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Gusmão Vilarinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldir Urbano in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gusmão Vilarinho saved Os Lagartos from getting behind. After 57 minutes Os Lagartos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Sequeira who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Os Lagartos's goalie and right to Severi Nybacka. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Os Lagartos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gusmão Vilarinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir Urbano's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Waldir Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gusmão Vilarinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71st play minutes Waldir Urbano shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Gusmão Vilarinho and just under the crossbar into goal. Tasso FC made a substitution. Juca Tasso replaced Miguel Sequeira. Severi Nybacka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gusmão Vilarinho having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Normando Fiúza notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Os Lagartos's Gusmão Vilarinho. Gusmão Vilarinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Normando Fiúza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gusmão Vilarinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0.
