An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Novaes in the 4th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Victorino Peru suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karsten Telkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Gentil in the 13th minute of play. Waldir Urbano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gastão Baía having to make a save. When MAKRO's Olavo Gentil in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tasso FC's goalie prevented a goal. Waldir Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Gastão Baía made a huge save. After 21 minutes MAKRO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Sequeira who took care of the corner kick. Tasso FC's Miguel Sequeira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gastão Baía in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Berkin Dilsafa charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berkin Dilsafa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berkin Dilsafa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo Gentil came free, but Silverio Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gastão Baía tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Walmyr Novaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silverio Corderun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Torcato Pessoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konrad Basinski got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dário Aveiro. Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Novaes in the 35th minute of play. Gastão Baía made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Waldir Urbano sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Caio Mendes got a free kick in the 38th minute. Waldir Urbano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gastão Baía came out and tried to block the shot, but Waldir Urbano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. Walmyr Novaes took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Corderun. Silverio Corderun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 47th minute, Berkin Dilsafa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldir Urbano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Urbano to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmyr Novaes. After 56 minutes Tasso FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karsten Telkamp who took care of the corner kick. Silverio Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind MAKRO's goalkeeper Gastão Baía, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tasso FC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after MAKRO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Sequeira took the corner. Edward Bubczyk made a great header on Tasso FC's corner, it was just that MAKRO's Gastão Baía managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Edward Bubczyk sped through MAKRO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gastão Baía. The throw-in from Karsten Telkamp in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tasso FC's León Zambrano. Walmyr Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Silverio Corderun made a huge save. 82 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Novaes came free, but Silverio Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Berkin Dilsafa hit a great ball. Silverio Corderun was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Karsten Telkamp. The supporters of MAKRO booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juca Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes, Olavo Gentil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAKRO and the Tasso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MAKRO getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Olavo Gentil hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
