A collision led to SC Cortinhas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Carlos Corte-Real hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Deslarga-me F.C.'s Ricart Ansola in action when he in the 5th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Álvaro Antas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cortinhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Antas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilhelm Arhenius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Azevedo took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilhelm Arhenius. Vilhelm Arhenius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. SC Cortinhas's Timóteo Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save SC Cortinhas from getting a goal against them. When Álvaro Antas came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SC Cortinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Antas couldn't finish the play. The SC Cortinhas fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when SC Cortinhas's Lázaro Azevedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Deslarga-me F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Cortinhas the free kick. The supporters of SC Cortinhas booed when Deslarga-me F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilhelm Arhenius didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Cortinhas's Lázaro Azevedo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. After 43 minutes of play, SC Cortinhas's Lázaro Azevedo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilhelm Arhenius was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Cortinhas's Álvaro Antas got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half SC Cortinhas were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vilhelm Arhenius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Lázaro Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Vilhelm Arhenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cortinhas. Lázaro Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vilhelm Arhenius having to make a save. When SC Cortinhas's Lázaro Azevedo in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deslarga-me F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. SC Cortinhas were furious when Carlos Corte-Real was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vilhelm Arhenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avelino Henriques in the 68th minute of play. If Álvaro Antas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Vilhelm Arhenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Antas in the 75th minute of play. Rubim Quintanilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Cortinhas made a substitution. Gusmão França replaced Álvaro Antas. If André Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Vilhelm Arhenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cortinhas. Vilhelm Arhenius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gusmão França in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, SC Cortinhas's Gusmão França nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilhelm Arhenius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Vilhelm Arhenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avelino Henriques in the 93rd minute of the match. Gusmão França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Cortinhas played a much better game than Deslarga-me F.C. and deserved their victory. The Deslarga-me F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
