Vasco Calheiros started the match with the kick off. Vasco Calheiros succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. Ronaldo Pinheiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julião Vidigal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Pinheiro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute Ronaldo Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julião Vidigal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgar Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Januário Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NewBarcel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Januário Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julião Vidigal was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Ronaldo Pinheiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronaldo Pinheiro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Calheiros in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julião Vidigal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. São Francisco FC86 were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after NewBarcel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rubinho Fernandes took the corner. Jorge Maltez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Julião Vidigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Calheiros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Julião Vidigal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tobias Peralta kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, NewBarcel's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Pinheiro came free, but Julião Vidigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasco Calheiros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Julião Vidigal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ronaldo Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leal Aires made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Pinheiro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of NewBarcel's Julião Vidigal. Julião Vidigal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th match minute, São Francisco FC86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Vasques to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Peralta kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Julião Vidigal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Pinheiro's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Julião Vidigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Tobias Peralta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. São Francisco FC86's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rubinho Fernandes in the 71st minute. Alexandre Fraga charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Fraga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to São Francisco FC86 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alexandre Fraga hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in NewBarcel's zone, Vasco Calheiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julião Vidigal came out of the goal and Vasco Calheiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the NewBarcel defense, Ronaldo Pinheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julião Vidigal. The NewBarcel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julião Vidigal should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, NewBarcel's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Pinheiro came free, but Julião Vidigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Ricardo Madeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Francisco FC86's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NewBarcel the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Ricardo Madeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julião Vidigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
