BoavistaPorto FC's Lourenço Bezerra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dreas Goffyn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dreas Goffyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Quadros in the 14th minute of the match. Dreas Goffyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Resende, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, PaxTeam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuriy Gorbachev came free, but Dreas Goffyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, PaxTeam FC's Gastão Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Yu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, PaxTeam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Resende came free, but Dreas Goffyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Hugo Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dreas Goffyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Quadros in the 38th minute of the match. When BoavistaPorto FC's Rogério Quadros in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Dreas Goffyn made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cláudio Aveiro sent off a good shot on target. Gastão Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Yuriy Gorbachev made a precise shot to the right of Dreas Goffyn. PaxTeam FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Dreas Goffyn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yuriy Gorbachev went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Dida Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gastão Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BoavistaPorto FC's Dida Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Tunander in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes PaxTeam FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Coelho. After a defensive mix-up in PaxTeam FC's zone, Hugo Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dreas Goffyn came out of the goal and Hugo Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes in the game Sebastião Teles did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cláudio Aveiro. Dida Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Tunander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The PaxTeam FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BoavistaPorto FC's performance. The match ended with a win for BoavistaPorto FC.
