Zarco Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Clube Desportivo Benfica's Adolfo Rangel got control of the ball when Jacob Veríssimo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zarco Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Ponte went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With his leg Adolfo Rangel managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Homer FC's Jacob Veríssimo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Burkhard Bieberstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Zarco Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacob Veríssimo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, Burkhard Bieberstein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Zarco Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Li Hong Qi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zarco Couto having to make a save. In the 34th minute Burkhard Bieberstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarco Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Burkhard Bieberstein made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Homer FC's Zarco Couto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Burkhard Bieberstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Zarco Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Burkhard Bieberstein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zarco Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 44 minutes into the match, Homer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Li Hong Qi came free, but Zarco Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Jacob Veríssimo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zarco Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burkhard Bieberstein in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacob Veríssimo to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Ponte succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 51st playminute. After 54 minutes, Eriberto Donatello made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Homer FC's Zarco Couto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burkhard Bieberstein in the 61st minute of play forced Homer FC's goalkeeper Zarco Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarco Couto having to interfere. Óscar Granja hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Zarco Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burkhard Bieberstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Alípio Lemos kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Burkhard Bieberstein charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Burkhard Bieberstein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Homer FC booed when Clube Desportivo Benfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burkhard Bieberstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Li Hong Qi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zarco Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Zarco Couto stood somewhat misplaced when Eriberto Donatello came free in front of goal and shot 0-11 to the left of him in the 80 minute. In the 83rd minute, Eriberto Donatello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zarco Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. In a very dangerous position, a player in Homer FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! The Homer FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clube Desportivo Benfica were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
