Erasmo Fernendo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Manhente FC's Erasmo Fernendo got control of the ball when Yuriy Gorbachev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Padilha in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Yu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th match minute, BoavistaPorto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenço Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to BoavistaPorto FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lourenço Bezerra hit a great ball. Dida Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Padilha in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Rogério Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuriy Gorbachev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Erasmo Fernendo made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Manhente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Quadros came free, but Erasmo Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BoavistaPorto FC's Cláudio Aveiro got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Hugo Resende came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the BoavistaPorto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Resende couldn't finish the play. Hugo Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manhente FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rogério Quadros 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Hugo Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuriy Gorbachev got free with Erasmo Fernendo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd match minute, Manhente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julião Borba to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yuriy Gorbachev to make the kick off. Erasmo Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Resende in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuriy Gorbachev in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Fernendo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, André Telinhos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes of play, BoavistaPorto FC's Rogério Quadros made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Fernendo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Teles in the 64th minute of play forced Manhente FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Quadros took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Fernendo. Erasmo Fernendo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Yuriy Gorbachev struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Erasmo Fernendo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BoavistaPorto FC. Erasmo Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Quadros in the 85th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Frederico Seixas put in a rough tackle. Erasmo Fernendo had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Lourenço Bezerra's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Teodoro Padilha in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dida Yu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BoavistaPorto FC fully deserved thier win.
