Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gastão Rodrigues took the kick off in the first half of the match. António Brandão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nuno Sequeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gastão Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Adélio Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goais. SC Sabugueiro's António Brandão got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Sabugueiro's Hamilton Fontoura got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Maciel hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Adélio Vaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Fiúza went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When SC Sabugueiro's Hamilton Fontoura in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goais's goalie prevented a goal. Nuno Sequeira came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Sabugueiro's Hamilton Fontoura. But to his dismay, Hamilton Fontoura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for António Brandão to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute António Brandão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Sequeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Sequeira was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and António Brandão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. António Brandão really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When Abel Maciel fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goais's protests and gave Abel Maciel a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Dimas Calheiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adélio Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Maciel in the 71st minute of the match. António Brandão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nuno Sequeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Fiúza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Goais supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Sabugueiro's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Sabugueiro.
