Spectators: 8017 (Terracing: 6015, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) António Brandão started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, BoavistaPorto FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Brandão came free, but Dida Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Sabugueiro getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dimas Calheiros hit a great ball. Adélio Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuriy Gorbachev in the 8th minute. Hugo Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Adélio Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Adélio Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when BoavistaPorto FC's Yuriy Gorbachev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 13 minutes into the match, Yuriy Gorbachev notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Sabugueiro's Adélio Vaz. Adélio Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adélio Vaz was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Hugo Resende capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hugo Resende really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Yuriy Gorbachev took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Adélio Vaz to make any attempt to save it. Hamilton Fontoura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dida Yu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Resende in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adélio Vaz saved SC Sabugueiro from getting behind. Hugo Resende might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adélio Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Resende ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuriy Gorbachev in the 35th minute of play forced SC Sabugueiro's goalkeeper Adélio Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Sabugueiro's Adélio Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save SC Sabugueiro from getting a goal against them. If Yuriy Gorbachev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yuriy Gorbachev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Yuriy Gorbachev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yuriy Gorbachev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Adélio Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hugo Resende came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the BoavistaPorto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Resende couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Hugo Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adélio Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuriy Gorbachev in the 75th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes BoavistaPorto FC got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Kochniarczyk. Hugo Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Yuriy Gorbachev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st match minute, SC Sabugueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Adélio Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuriy Gorbachev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BoavistaPorto FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
