Spectators: 7996 (Terracing: 5998, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaspar Linhares kicked off to start the match. Gil Gouveia came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Galaxy's Sílvio Peralta. But to his dismay, Sílvio Peralta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Sílvio Peralta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gil Gouveia. Sílvio Peralta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A collision led to Aveiro FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fernando Rijo hit a great ball. Tomás Rebocho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Simões in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Aveiro FC were awarded a corner. Amado Macena went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Aveiro FC's Gaspar Linhares getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Sílvio Peralta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Gouveia was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Gil Gouveia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Peralta in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Samuel Azenha had to leave the field with a concussion. Paulo Quintela's late challenge caught a FC Galaxy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Quintela helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Galaxy booed when Aveiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Quintela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Rebocho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Linhares in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, FC Galaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Linhares came free, but Tomás Rebocho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Gouveia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Peralta in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, FC Galaxy's Sílvio Peralta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Peralta made a kick off. After 54 played minutes FC Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Gregory. The long shot by Amado Macena in the 55th minute really tested Tomás Rebocho's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gil Gouveia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Peralta, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Aveiro FC's Vicente Quintanilha got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Guarda in the 72nd minute of play forced Aveiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Gouveia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute FC Galaxy were awarded a corner. Hernández Salmeron went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Galaxy's Hernández Salmeron was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gil Gouveia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, FC Galaxy's Hernández Salmeron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Gouveia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Galaxy's goalkeeper Tomás Rebocho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Aveiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Quintanilha to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Sílvio Peralta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Gouveia was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, Aveiro FC's Vicente Quintanilha got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Sílvio Peralta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Gouveia having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the FC Galaxy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
