The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moisés Monsanto made a kick off. 53 minutes in the game, Óscar Cardozo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 60th minute, Miguel Milio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mogadourense A. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Moisés Monsanto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Moberg having to interfere. Óscar Cardozo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Pascoal Jesus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Óscar Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pascoal Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Cardozo in the 67th minute of play. Salvador Ramalho did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Pascoal Jesus 69 minutes into the match. C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A.C.CROCA:s goal. Zeferino Carvalhais walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C.CROCA's goalkeeper Max Moberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Mogadourense A. C.'s Pascoal Jesus got control of the ball when Zeferino Carvalhais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeferino Carvalhais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Pascoal Jesus made a huge save. A.C.CROCA's Rui Mendes was substituted for Salvador Ramalho. After a defensive mix-up in A.C.CROCA's zone, Miguel Milio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Moberg came out of the goal and Miguel Milio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, A.C.CROCA's Óscar Cardozo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascoal Jesus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A.C.CROCA's Óscar Cardozo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Zeferino Carvalhais came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the A.C.CROCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeferino Carvalhais couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A.C.CROCA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
