When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Miguel Milio sped through Paços de Ferreira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Afonso Vasconcelos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Monsanto in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paços de Ferreira's Afonso Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Monsanto in the 20th minute of play. Miguel Milio scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Vasconcelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Paços de Ferreira getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Viriato Vaz hit a great ball. Moisés Monsanto took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Vasconcelos. Moisés Monsanto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Vasconcelos having to interfere. After 37 minutes, Moisés Monsanto made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Paços de Ferreira's Afonso Vasconcelos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Paços de Ferreira's zone, Hermes Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Hermes Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mogadourense A. C.'s Moisés Monsanto fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some careless play in the Paços de Ferreira defense, Moisés Monsanto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Vasconcelos. The Paços de Ferreira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

If Hermes Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mogadourense A. After 69 played minutes Paços de Ferreira got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Assunção. 72 minutes into the match, Paços de Ferreira's goalkeeper Afonso Vasconcelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moisés Monsanto. The corner ended in Moisés Monsanto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paços de Ferreira's Afonso Vasconcelos did a great save. Afonso Vasconcelos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miguel Milio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 92 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Miguel Milio put it in 0-14 from a short distance just to the right of Afonso Vasconcelos.
