Tomás Rebocho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 12th minute Óscar Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Rebocho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Rebocho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Rozarius in the 16th minute of play. Tomás Rebocho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Óscar Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Rebocho. A.C.CROCA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Galaxy the free kick. Ciriaco Robres hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, FC Galaxy's Severiano Simões seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Severiano Simões the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Galaxy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Severiano Simões had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 32 played minutes FC Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Simões. Zeferino Carvalhais took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomás Rebocho. FC Galaxy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tomás Rebocho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeferino Carvalhais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernández Salmeron missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Max Moberg right hand side. 45 minutes into the game, Óscar Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Tomás Rebocho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half A.C.CROCA were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Galaxy's goalie and right to Óscar Cardozo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Galaxy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. FC Galaxy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Óscar Cardozo scored to the left of an out of position Tomás Rebocho, making the score, 0-6. After 59 minutes of play, A.C.CROCA's Óscar Cardozo made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Rebocho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sílvio Peralta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Moberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Zeferino Carvalhais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Tomás Rebocho made a huge save. Max Moberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Peralta in the 66th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Sílvio Peralta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Eloy Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Rebocho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Sílvio Peralta managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Galaxy's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Peralta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Moberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Zacarias Ribas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of A.C.CROCA booed when FC Galaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Ribas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.C.CROCA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
