Óscar Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Plácido Azenha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Óscar Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. A.C.CROCA's Max Moberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Braga in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.C.CROCA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ronaldo Veiga was slow to take the kick. During this time White Star Barreiro's players had a chance to rest. When A.C.CROCA's Zeferino Carvalhais in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
