The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Miramar's Alcino Garcia got a free kick in the 4th minute. Durval Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Milio in the 5th minute of the match. Artur Moita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Pascoal Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miramar's attentive Isidoro Liberato managed to snatch the ball when Moisés Varanda made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. Moisés Varanda got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Moisés Monsanto. Durval Matos came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Mogadourense A. C.'s Hermes Bezerra. But to his dismay, Hermes Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Celso Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Pascoal Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miramar. In the 18th minute, Fábio Cerqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match, Hermes Bezerra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Durval Matos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Altino Fragoso kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Durval Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermes Bezerra in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Moita during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Miramar got a freekick which was hit by Artur Moita. After 34 minutes of play, Mogadourense A. C.'s Hermes Bezerra made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Artur Moita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascoal Jesus was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Durval Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Fagundes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moisés Monsanto got free with Durval Matos in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Durval Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Fagundes in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermes Bezerra got free with Durval Matos in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miramar's Durval Matos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Miramar from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moisés Monsanto to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Baltasar Fagundes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Durval Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the game, Mogadourense A. C.'s Meng Yue Yin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Durval Matos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 59th minute, Isidoro Liberato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Baltasar Fagundes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Matos. Miramar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Fagundes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The supporters of Mogadourense A. C. booed when Miramar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermes Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Fagundes in the 95th minute of play forced Miramar's goalkeeper Durval Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Mogadourense A. C.'s Baltasar Fagundes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Durval Matos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0.
