The tension between the White Star Barreiro and the Benficajuvestars players grew even worse after the yellow card. 15 minutes into the game, Benficajuvestars's Ziemowit Moczkiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Plácido Azenha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. White Star Barreiro's Mariano Aires managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roberto Raminhos in the 28 minute of the game. Jerry Nykvist scored 0-6 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Plácido Azenha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerry Nykvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Benficajuvestars's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ziemowit Moczkiewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but White Star Barreiro's Plácido Azenha did a great save. 54 minutes into the match, Jerry Nykvist notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of White Star Barreiro's Plácido Azenha. Plácido Azenha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Nykvist in the 93rd minute of play forced White Star Barreiro's goalkeeper Plácido Azenha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. White Star Barreiro's Plácido Azenha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save White Star Barreiro from getting a goal against them. The White Star Barreiro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Benficajuvestars were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
