Plácido Azenha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Lages, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plácido Azenha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dércio Vidigal in the 10th minute of the match. White Star Barreiro's Plácido Azenha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dércio Vidigal in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Daniel Braga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Amaral, 1-0. Daniel Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme Alvarenga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daniel Amaral firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dércio Vidigal in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Plácido Azenha saved White Star Barreiro from getting behind. In the 22ndth minute of the game Dércio Vidigal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but White Star Barreiro's Plácido Azenha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dércio Vidigal in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Plácido Azenha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the game, White Star Barreiro's Guilherme Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, White Star Barreiro's Ronaldo Veiga got a free kick in the 35th minute. Daniel Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Braga in the 39th minute of the match. Daniel Amaral came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by White Star Barreiro's Guilherme Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Guilherme Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Lages was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, White Star Barreiro's Abílio Viana got a free kick in the 51st minute. Daniel Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Alvarenga went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Plácido Azenha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltasar Lages's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After 63 minutes, Ricardo Quintela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Moitinhos and the White Star Barreiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 85 minutes of play, White Star Barreiro's Ronaldo Veiga made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dércio Vidigal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, White Star Barreiro's Plácido Azenha got control of the ball when Dércio Vidigal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of White Star Barreiro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Moitinhos:s goal. White Star Barreiro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
