Spectators: 5020 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Enzo Raposo got the match started through his kick off. Abílio Varanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfírio Barcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 15 minutes, Renato Bacelar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aveleiras and the CASTROFOOT players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CASTROFOOT booed when Aveleiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Bacelar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Porfírio Barcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CASTROFOOT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Porfírio Barcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, CASTROFOOT's goalkeeper Honorato Álvares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Eanes. Honorato Álvares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Abrantes in the 34th minute of the match. Antero Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antero Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Inácio Abrantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Álvares was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Inácio Abrantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inácio Abrantes was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CASTROFOOT's zone, Abílio Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Álvares came out of the goal and Abílio Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Abrantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to CASTROFOOT getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Josué Baião hit a great ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Inácio Abrantes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CASTROFOOT's Honorato Álvares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 played minutes CASTROFOOT got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Vilas Boas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Abrantes in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Álvares saved CASTROFOOT from getting behind. Jordão Baptista hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Nuno Eanes came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Aveleiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Eanes couldn't finish the play. In the 66thth minute of the game Nuno Eanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CASTROFOOT's Honorato Álvares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nuno Eanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 minutes of play Aveleiras's Renato Bacelar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 76 played minutes Aveleiras got a freekick which was hit by Renato Bacelar. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind CASTROFOOT's goalkeeper Honorato Álvares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nuno Eanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Raposo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abílio Varanda came out and tried to block the shot, but Enzo Raposo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 87th minute. Aveleiras's Nuno Eanes got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
