When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Virgílio Costa sped through THRASH ATTACK F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severino Câmara. Severino Câmara came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by B.Z. F.C.'s Virgílio Costa. But to his dismay, Virgílio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Paulo Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Taborda in the 10th minute of the match. THRASH ATTACK F.C. were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after B.Z. F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aprígio Bento took the corner. Severino Câmara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Teixeira in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Vides in the 16th minute of play forced THRASH ATTACK F.C.'s goalkeeper Severino Câmara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, José Guilherme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B.Z. F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but José Guilherme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Câmara came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by B.Z. F.C.'s Virgílio Costa. But to his dismay, Virgílio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Virgílio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. B.Z. F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Virgílio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Câmara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgílio Costa struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Severino Câmara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for B.Z. F.C.. A collision led to THRASH ATTACK F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nicolas Miguéis hit a great ball. Gustavo Paixão hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Virgílio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Câmara having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, José Guilherme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B.Z. Severino Câmara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Virgílio Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severino Câmara was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 42 minutes, Aprígio Bento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THRASH ATTACK F.C. and the B.Z. F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. THRASH ATTACK F.C.'s Severino Câmara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Vides in the 47th minute of play. After the first half B.Z. F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Taborda was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, B.Z. F.C.'s José Guilherme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in THRASH ATTACK F.C.'s zone, Valério Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Câmara came out of the goal and Valério Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Virgílio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Câmara. THRASH ATTACK F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgílio Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. B.Z. F.C.'s Virgílio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. THRASH ATTACK F.C.'s Severino Câmara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Costa in the 68th minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game José Guilherme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THRASH ATTACK F.C.'s Severino Câmara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Virgílio Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severino Câmara. The goal made the score 0-9. José Guilherme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
