Lilko Albachki started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Creative GFC defense, Lilko Albachki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Assunção. The Creative GFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Assunção should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Albertino Gama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Creative GFC's Baltasar Assunção played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Gama in the 9th minute of play. Amarante FC's Albertino Gama got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvano Lages lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Creative GFC's Silvano Lages got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 16 played minutes Amarante FC got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Fraga. Moisés Pádua got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rodrigo Lemos. Albertino Gama scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Assunção, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Lilko Albachki notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Creative GFC's Baltasar Assunção. Baltasar Assunção was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albertino Sequeira got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hamilton Chagas. In the 37th minute, Patrício Freitas made a precise shot to the right of Baltasar Assunção. Creative GFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Baltasar Assunção came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Amarante FC's Rodrigo Lemos. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Lemos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Márcio Salazar made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Pascoal Gois threw the ball into play from the sideline. Creative GFC's João Teixeira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. João Teixeira hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Creative GFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Albertino Gama scored to the left of an out of position Baltasar Assunção, making the score, 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Gama got free with Baltasar Assunção in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute Patrício Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio Salazar hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Hamilton Chagas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Gama in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Albertino Gama's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Assunção was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Amarante FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
