In the 10th minute João Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Colaço saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Creative GFC defense, Henrique Durães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Assunção. The Creative GFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Assunção should have stopped the shot. Creative GFC's Baltasar Assunção played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avelino Torcato in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Creative GFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulizes Boldu came free, but Baltasar Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Sesimbra scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Assunção, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Lobato charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Lobato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Creative GFC's Carlos Lobato got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to Creative GFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Silvano Lages hit a great ball. Baltasar Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Sesimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Creative GFC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Sudarsono came free, but Baltasar Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Assunção came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Green Lion's Amado Sesimbra. But to his dismay, Amado Sesimbra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 48th minute, Amado Sesimbra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Assunção was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Márcio Salazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baltasar Assunção was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Amado Sesimbra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amado Sesimbra really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Amado Sesimbra might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Assunção. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Sesimbra ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Henrique Durães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Assunção was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Silvano Lages hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When António Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Green Lion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Magalhães couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Amado Sesimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulizes Boldu got free with Baltasar Assunção in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Amado Sesimbra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Assunção was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. 82 minutes into the match, Ulizes Boldu notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Creative GFC's Baltasar Assunção. Baltasar Assunção was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severiano Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Simão Colaço tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, João Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Amado Sesimbra put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Green Lion fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Creative GFC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lázaro Novais, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Green Lion's Simão Colaço. 1-10. The audience was convinced that Ulizes Boldu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Assunção was relentless in the 98th minute of the game.
