Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Márcio Salazar kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Creative GFC's goalkeeper Baltasar Assunção had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Bessa. Cristiano Damásio charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Damásio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Creative GFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Damásio. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Márcio Salazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creative GFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Márcio Salazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermes Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes, Silvano Lages mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Creative GFC and the Almada players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Almada booed when Creative GFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Lages didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Bessa came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Baltasar Assunção could save by the left post. Lázaro Novais kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Enzo Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. José Pimenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Baltasar Assunção made a huge save. In the 27th minute Márcio Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermes Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Almada's Paulo Bessa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Assunção narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severiano Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Hermes Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creative GFC. If Severiano Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermes Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Márcio Salazar went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Severiano Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hermes Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Creative GFC booed when Almada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Eiró didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Paulo Bessa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Creative GFC's Baltasar Assunção. Baltasar Assunção was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Lobato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Márcio Salazar came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Creative GFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio Salazar couldn't finish the play. Baltasar Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Lobato in the 71st minute of play. When Cristiano Damásio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Cristiano Damásio hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Márcio Salazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermes Cruz having to make a save. Severiano Gueifão's late challenge caught a Almada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Gueifão helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Creative GFC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Gueifão. A collision led to Almada getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Hermenegildo Laureano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Bessa in the 90th minute of play forced Creative GFC's goalkeeper Baltasar Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Salazar might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermes Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márcio Salazar ran back to his position shaking his head.
