Egídio Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walery Hoffman went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Egídio Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Fonseca in the 22nd minute of play. ChicanaFC's Hélio Miguéis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarco Lessa in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Adélio Laureano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ChicanaFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave scvalenciano the free kick. The supporters of scvalenciano booed when ChicanaFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adélio Laureano didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Egídio Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paiva in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heitor Fonseca in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio Palmeira saved scvalenciano from getting behind. 57 minutes into the game, Barry McDermott recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hélio Miguéis. Barry McDermott showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Hélio Miguéis made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Zarco Lessa sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, scvalenciano's Aristide Agudin got a free kick in the 61st minute. A collision led to scvalenciano getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ousmane Dembélé hit a great ball. In the 66th minute ChicanaFC were awarded a corner. Marek Fudalej went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 69th minute Heitor Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egídio Palmeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walery Hoffman's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. With 71 minutes on the clock, Aldaír Modesto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Marek Fudalej shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 75 minutes into the match, ChicanaFC's goalkeeper Hélio Miguéis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zarco Lessa. After 92 minutes, Alexandre Noronha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ChicanaFC and the scvalenciano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zarco Lessa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Hélio Miguéis made a huge save.
