Paulino Abrantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 minutes of play, Pizza Hut's Marquinhos Santos made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Abrantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell A.J. Schadenfroh to make the kick off. After 57 minutes, Basílio Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ARC Valdevez and the Pizza Hut players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers A.J. Schadenfroh in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Abrantes saved ARC Valdevez from getting behind. Marquinhos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Abrantes having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Marquinhos Santos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Pizza Hut fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Pizza Hut's A.J. Schadenfroh looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-14 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 89 minutes into the match, A.J. Schadenfroh notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of ARC Valdevez's Paulino Abrantes. Paulino Abrantes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If A.J. Schadenfroh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ARC Valdevez fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pizza Hut were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
