Estevão Lisboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Abrantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After 10 played minutes OURAL FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Bacelar. Paulino Moreira, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paulino Abrantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higino Paião, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Higino Paião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OURAL FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higino Paião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Higino Paião made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Abrantes. ARC Valdevez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Estevão Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. OURAL FC's Higino Paião was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Paulino Abrantes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. 30 minutes into the game, Basílio Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARC Valdevez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OURAL FC the free kick. Paulino Abrantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee showed Telmo Sobral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Telmo Sobral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noel Gameiro was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, OURAL FC's goalkeeper Maoz Alfaks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermenegildo Camargo. Paulino Abrantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estevão Lisboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Estevão Lisboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Estevão Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Abrantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Higino Paião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higino Paião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Estevão Lisboa scored 6-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Abrantes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermenegildo Camargo got free with Maoz Alfaks in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of OURAL FC booed when ARC Valdevez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Queiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Estevão Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germano Damásio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Abrantes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ARC Valdevez's zone, Estevão Lisboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Abrantes came out of the goal and Estevão Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulino Abrantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higino Paião's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Higino Paião put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paulino Abrantes. OURAL FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
