Hermenegildo Camargo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Vasco Guerreiro made a huge save. Paulino Abrantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Tavares went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When ARC Valdevez's Hermenegildo Camargo in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GD Serra da Vila's goalie prevented a goal. Paulino Abrantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, GD Serra da Vila's Angelo Bessa got a free kick in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Noel Gameiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vasco Guerreiro. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. After 31 played minutes GD Serra da Vila got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Mesquita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Gameiro in the 32nd minute of play forced GD Serra da Vila's goalkeeper Vasco Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Maciel struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Paulino Abrantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GD Serra da Vila. In the 39th minute Santiago Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Abrantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noel Gameiro to make the kick off. Santiago Maciel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Paulino Abrantes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, GD Serra da Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Gameiro came free, but Vasco Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ARC Valdevez's Paulino Moreira got a free kick in the 57th minute. Telmo Sobral kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Santiago Maciel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Paulino Abrantes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Basílio Teixeira hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 65th play minutes Santiago Maciel shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Paulino Abrantes and just under the crossbar into goal. Paulino Abrantes came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by GD Serra da Vila's Santiago Maciel. But to his dismay, Santiago Maciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 72nd minute, Adolfo Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vasco Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Gameiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, ARC Valdevez's Simão Sacramento got a free kick in the 75th minute. 82 minutes into the game, ARC Valdevez's Noel Gameiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vasco Guerreiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Vasco Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Gameiro in the 84th minute of the match. GD Serra da Vila's Vasco Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermenegildo Camargo in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, GD Serra da Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Bessa to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Manuel Arruda put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in GD Serra da Vila fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Vasco Guerreiro went to the wrong direction when Paulino Moreira was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Moreira in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasco Guerreiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GD Serra da Vila were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
