When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Noel Gameiro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Enzo Souto. Enzo Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Gameiro in the 14th minute of the match. Enzo Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Gameiro in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudemiro Valentim in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Abrantes saved ARC Valdevez from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Assis during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hermenegildo Camargo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Noel Gameiro came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the ARC Valdevez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Gameiro couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in ARC Valdevez's zone, Wilson Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Abrantes came out of the goal and Wilson Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Gameiro to strike the kick off in the second half. If Wilson Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulino Abrantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudemiro Valentim, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Paulino Abrantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, ARC Valdevez's Noel Gameiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Noel Gameiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes of play, ARC Valdevez's Hermenegildo Camargo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enzo Souto made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Hermenegildo Camargo sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Noel Gameiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wilson Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
