In the 37th minute of the match Teófilo Quinaz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eurico Sacramento skillfully saved the ball. fig team's Eurico Sacramento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Esparteiro in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Costa got free with Afonso Mourato in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After recieving a nice pass, Lofi Girl Portimao's Joaquim Matos tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
